St. Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on March 17th to honor St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It became an official feast day in the Catholic Church in the early 17th century and has since evolved from a religious holiday to a global celebration of Irish culture and heritage. The holiday is marked by parades, parties, and events featuring traditional Irish music, dance, and food. Today, people of all nationalities come together to celebrate the Irish culture and to honor St. Patrick.

But, it seems to be mostly about the parties these days. 🙂
